Please all, read Maxwell's book "Reflections" (either I or II) or the same
QST pieces reprinted on the QST web site.

SWR is RE REFLECTED from the tank circuit, (if no tuner) and does NOT enter
the finals of the rig.  ALL SWR is re reflected and eventually radiated,
except for transmission line losses up and back and up.
