[TenTec] Jupiter Microphone?

The two-meter rigs from Icom came with mics in the 70's . . .the Icom
IC-730 that I  bought in 1982 came with a mic, but the 765 in 1990 did not.
However, the IC-756 PRO in 2000 came with a hand mic as did the Kachina
505DSP in 1999.

I sure don't have "the story," but that has been my experience with rigs
and mics.
