The Inrad audio mod helps.  To achieve true full
fidelity receive ssb on the Omni 6+, install 2.8
filters and install a separate hi-fi audio output by
bypassing dsp/notch.  Use the stock/Inrad audio when
you need dsp/notch and use hi-fi audio output when you
don't.  I found it pretty easy to install the hi-fi
audio output when I owned an Omni 6+ (see

ideas).
