George, one other thing, back off on drive to the Amplifier,and see if the Omni is just overdriving it. The effect on your ability to contact stations will be minimal, but you may well be able to give up a few watts and solve the problem. I presume the audio is clean at the level of the Omni that is the same as what upsets the audio with the amp.? 73, Stuart K5KVH
