[TenTec] Hercules 2 Export version

I have acquired a Hercules 2 export version (I hold an extra license) and 
there
is an RCA jack and a potentiometer on the upper middle of the back panel that
is NOT shown in the photocopy of the manual photos. Neither item is labeled
nor is anything mentioned in the (Domestic??) manual. I Don't have a clue 
what 
they are for, unless it is an alc line for non - Tentec radios, but I am not 
sure.
