[TenTec] OMNI V Problem

Hi,

Once again before I send my OMNI V back to Ten Tec, I am looking for advice.

The rig does not work on SSB for very long.  I can pull the plug back and forth 
into the socket and make it work for a small while, but SSB eventually 
disappears.

I did send the rig back to Ten Tec and they repaired an "intermittent PLL 
connection."  This worked for a while but not for long.  I hesitate to send the 
rig back to them (I'll call them tomorrow after posting this note) because this 
problem was not repaired the last time.

Perhaps the problem has to do with making the proper connection with the mike 
plug.  I received an interesting e-mail on this.

Others?
