Ed, You must try the Omni VI+ DSP on CW. It makes a weak signal just jump
out of the noise. Wonderful.

One thing to consider is that you can't use QSK with an outboard unit  which
is bad news.  I had a NIR 12 and I didn't like it on cw at all and I don't
work SSb.  I haven't tried the DSP with my Omni six plus. Ed
