Hi Bob, yes, a modern Windom (parallel line fed or coax with isolator) can
work as an antenna, but it is never going to balance with unequal legs, so I
suspect some minute RF at least leaks back onto the outside of the coax
shield, especially where the shield (feed coax) length gets to critical
quarter wave lengths, etc.
