I don't know about the newer AT-11s but I have an old AT-11 Automatic Tuner. 
Been using it for several years and it is very convenient. I just turn down 
the power, put rig in tune position, and away you go.

Of course, a fairly good antenna helps. I use a Gap Titan vertical and tuner 
and it works out beautifully. Don't have to tune anything, except at one end 
or the other on 80 meters and maybe some 10 meters, which I have never tried.

AT-11 gets my vote!
