I have an old K2 and an even older Omni-V.9. Yes, I plan to have an ORION when 
I win the Lotto and that stupid stupid stupid Star Wars HAARP project is 
turned off so the ionosphere returns to normal. (I guess that means I will 
never have an ORION, but no wonder the US has a budget deficit bigger than 
mine)

I suggest that the only really important question is not the exact numbers, 
but how Elecraft managed to achieve such receiver performance in a home 
assembly gizmo at relatively low cost. For that you ought to hear Elecraft's 
Eric Swartz' presentation on the Elecraft design philosophy. KISS - keep it 
simple. And thats the way I like my radios, the fewer knobs and buttons the 
better (and the less to go wrong ???)   If only the Omni-V had a decent 
product detector free from intermod ........
