Bill,
YES, THAT WOULD BE SWEET. I too would like that as I am always tweaking the 
threshold. AND wow, it really is a nice feature to be able to adjust it. I seem 
to never touch the RF Gain control, always the AGC Threshold.

How about having a menu option to allow AGC THRESHOLD to be adjustable all 
the time:
IF.... 

1) The PROG is displayed on the screen HIGHLIGHTED, (which would be a SW 
change to be able to highlight the CURRENT AGC setting by holding the AGC button 
for 2 sec's, like a lot of the other functions work)

2) Option in the AGC menu to turn this function on / off

3) Then, just adjust the MULTI which will change the threshold setting 

4) To use MULTI for something else, just press another button, when you want 
the PROG AGC THRESHOLD CONTINUOUS ADJUST FUNCTION BACK ON, JUST PUSH & HOLD 
AGC AGAIN FOR 2 SECONDS.
If you push AGC momentarily, it would do the same thing as now (change the 
AGC setting)

It would be nice to have that AGC area of the display show mode (PROG, fast , 
etc.) on the top of the box, and current threshold below it.  

OR SOMETHING LIKE THIS!

I think it would be GREEEAAAATTT! as Tony the Tiger would say -:)
