[TenTec] Paragon Improvements

Hi All

I acquired a very low serial number Paragon some weeks ago.  It came with a
built in 130 Hz frequency offset between receive and transmit mode which
only occurred on USB.  Factory service tried hard to give me some hints,
but was only able to suggest a firmware upgrade which had no effect.  I did
find the problem ....... the hard way.  Apparently this problem was built
into many early Paragons, but was cured in later ones.

Last month K8GVK asked if there were cataloged modifications to the
Paragon, and got a response listing a site with non-Ten-tec mods.  Is there
any place where the factory modifications which were implemented during the
manufacturing life of the Paragon are cataloged?  I asked this question of
the Ten-tec service department:  they replied that no such list existed.

My Paragon has some minor remaining problems which I would like to clean up
this year.  Can anyone help please?
