This reflector is set up with a REPLY-TO which overrides anything a
browser can do and so all replies go only to the reflector. To reply to
an individual off list, one must manually copy and past that
individual's e-mail address. I'm sure this in an option of the list
setup. Perhaps enough would believe it should be more convenient to not
have the forced reply-to and could convince the list moderator to change
that option.
The drawback of not having the forced reply-to is that when some use
reply to all, then some get the post twice, once direct, and once
through the list. But it is handier when one wishes to reply off list
when the browser's REPLY tends to go only to the originator, not to the
list. Of course, that can confuse some who didn't want that but wanted
to post to the list.
Read the header as displayed in YOUR e-mail program and you can work out
what happens and how to make it do what you wish. No variations on these
options can be perfect.
