These long-named rigs obviously weren't monikered by cw ops.
Half a QSO can be eaten-up using Samuel F. B.'s language to say
"FT-1000D Mark V Field, etc. Omni 6 Plus is no quicky either.

Here's hoping that the future namer of TenTec rigs will consider
another stellar name associated with the planet Jupiter. It's fifth
satellite (moon) is named Io. The name TenTec is poetic in CW,
ie......da,dit,da-dit....da,dit,da-di-da-dit. Some good inflection can
be added with a straight key or bug.

TenTec Io. Could nail that one real quick. Add on a few filters,
auto tuner, external power supply, external speaker, txco, and
you could have the upgraded model - Io U.

Rumor has it the several-month-old Icom 756ProII is already headed for
the cut-out bin at your local ham radio supply house with the
announcement of the NEW!!! Icom 756ProIIMkIIG.

ALSO!!! Look for a new "waterproof" version of the high-end Yaesu FT-
1000 Mark V-Field. It will be called the Yaesu FT-1000 Mark V-Field-
and-Stream.

I read it on the Internet so it must be true.
