[TenTec] A plea from the heart - WTB: 283 VFO for my Delta 580. Please

Hello folks,

      Each year I hope that someone out there might just consider making the 
life of my Delta 580 a little bit more complete. On the European side of the 
pond good Ten Tec accessories are as rare as hens teeth and the 283 VFO is no 
exception. I've watched the Ten Tec list like a hawk for quite some time and 
only recently come across the Ten Tec listings on ebay, but all to no avail. 
Al, WB5JNC, helped me join my KW/Ten Tec Omni D to a 243 VFO and both are 
exceptionally happy together. 

      I don't ask for much in life but I would dearly love to marry my Delta 
up with a nice homey VFO but just can't find an appropriate partner  - If you 
think you can help please drop me a line...VFO need only be working and 
good(ish) cosmetic condition.

PS ... don't be too dejected by this e-mail my Delta loves working the bands 
here in East Anglia (Most recent 'good' dx 9J2BO, CW on 12m and a little more 
local OH0R, CW on 160m.
