In 87 or 88 (im guessing) I bought an Argosy II from Bill that he was using
to drive a Titan amp as a demonstrator at his place of business. T T told me
that they were no longer going to make the Argosy II so Bill sold it to me
and I have used it for many years on field day as a QRP rig and in many QRP
cw contests. The last time was 2002 FD and will use it next year again. Good
rig for the money. My friend Mary K0YL bought a Corsair II new from
Burghardts (87-88?).
As for when T T went direct, it was after that, so maybe Scott will fill us
in on the time.
