How many other companies will respond to a list such
as this with all kinds of information for customers
and potential customers? I think we know the answer.
I'm sure it takes away valuable time to do so, but at
the same time it is certainly good for business. I
enjoy reading factory comments even when they don't
apply to me.
Ten-Tec is a special kind of company in so many ways
which we all know well. I will cite one example: On
July 4, I was at the Harrisburg (PA) hamfest with some
friends when we spotted a mint Omni VI Plus on a
tailgate table. One fellow wondered whether it might
have any problems, considering that it would not be an
insignificant purchase dollar wise. I said, "You know,
if there are any problems I know where they can be
taken care of quickly and at reasonable cost."
Everyone agreed, including those who have never had a
piece of Ten-Tec gear. Buying used Ten-Tec equipment
does not entail the same risk as does that of other
manufacturers.
