Bill, make sure to use the lowest possible signal level into the program for
best accuracy. The trace should be clearly visible but very little
background noise should appear. Overdriving will introduce frequency errors.

As I type I am looking at the DigiPan Waterfall display using George's
method.  The 500 Hz. was dead on but I am seeing a frequency of 1047.2 Hz.
with the Orion tuned to 10.001.00 LSB.  This IS quite interesting indeedie.
I shall have to try this with my Argonaut V to see where its TCXO "is".
