 Hi Joe -- On 11-21-00 I ordered inserts for the battery pack on my 2591
from TNR Technical, Inc., 301 Central Park Drive, Sanford, FL32771.
Phone (407) 321 3011. Cost 26.07. I had to install them. For me, this
presented no problem. They had to be soldered to leads in the case. I
think I could have sent the old battery to be rebuilt. Ask!

As for a charger, I use a wall charger rated 50 ma, 12 vdc. Center 
is +. Mine is a Tempo mod.ach-3.For protection of battery,do not use a
charger with more than 50 ma. capacity, as more current will destroy the
Baddery. I may even have a spare in stock.
