[TenTec] strange QRM/QRN/RFI source?

Any chance that a neighbor came home with one of the new plasma TV sets?  There was a reference to their noise-generating characteristics on eham a while back.

I'm not professing to be an authority on HF noise or interference, just pointing to what seems to be a possibility.

Something that comes to mind is these photocell devices that turn lights, "on at dusk, off at dawn", like night-lights, etc..  I've found these to be horrendous noise generators!  And it doesn't seem to matter if the device is on or off.
