My decoder ring was actually a small silver jet. On the bottom of the jet
was a pointer that had 4 points. There was an alphabet around the pointer.
You moved the pointer to a letter. The other end of the pointer had 3 small
points labelled "1", "2" and "3". You could get 3 different codes out of it
like that.
