Hello all, Well at least I feel I'm not asking dumb questions as I have 
generated some very
informational responses and thanks to everybody. One last question, since I 
am not very good at reading advanced schematics (anything above a Hartley 
Oscillator - Hi Hi), If I didn't
want to alter the TX bandwidth, Would putting the 2.8 filter in one of the 2 
narrow 9 mhz IF
slots work? that way I could leave the 2.4 in for Transmit, and since Rob 
Atkinson said that the Narrow slots do not alter TX, I would be affecting recieve 
only. I already have the 2.8 in the 6.3Mhz if to reduce / eliminate passband 
ripple. The mod sheet says the 2.8 in the 9mhz is for ultimate audio 
improvement, but the way it is worded, it doesn't seem like it is
actually mandatory to have. If it wont work in either the N-1 or N-2 slots, I
