VS: VS: [TenTec] Orion and PTT?

Bill , If you set off internal keyer , you can key Orion from
Front panel paddle connector.
It works like PTT.
I do not know what says factory of this ?

         This was one of the first things I asked for, but have

it for SSB but not CW, since one would think it would be a

reasons (clicks, reliability, etc) but have resigned myself to
Semi-Breakin.  I set TX>EXT T/R Delay to 90% which seems
to work OK.  Maybe someone will figure out a mod to allow
true PTT, but another alternative is to use a footswitch (and
CT) to PTT the amplifier only and bypass Orion.

P.S.  For anyone interested, Scott W4PA has contacted K1EA
to offer an Orion and documentation for CT support.  Let's hope
Ken will do it!
