I'm running 1.201 which is the latest available and
has been for months. Which version of the firmware and
which flavor of windows seems to work ok together?

It would be interesting to see if this is a Win9x
kernel vs. NT kernel issue. There is a big difference
between how the Win9x versions (Win95, Win98, WinME)
and the NT kernel based versions (WinNT, Win2K, WinXP)
of the Windows OS handle the com ports.
