[TenTec] Omni 6 Rig Control

Thanks for all of the feedback regarding my rig control question.  I have connected my Omni to the COMM1 port via the 25 pin cable.  After doing the port selection criteria in my Writelog program, the only rig information that I have on my screen is frequency and mode.  Adjusting these parameters requires either manual action on the computer (new frequency/mode entry via a window) or adjustment at the rig on the tuning knob.  Any adjustments to any other parameter, such as power level, AF gain, etc. still must be done at the radio and are not visible on the screen.  It would sure be great to totally control the radio from the computer.  Any ideas of what I am doing wrong with either the Writelog program or my interface set-up?  Thanks in advance.  73.
