[TenTec] Orion's lack of color

It does not surprise me that the people at a DX bash would be Icom people.
With the big three lending DX groups there equipment to use, the DX monkeys
have to have the same gear that the folks they are trying to work have.
For me, I will keep the rigs where an upgrade is a free download from the
web site, not a new rig. The marketing folks in Japan are doing a great job
in getting all these Americans to spend the big bucks every time they make a
minor change or fix a proplem. How many will buy the several versions of
that new rig that Icom showed at Dayton.
I buy what is in the box, not how the box looks. As a QRP operator, I will
keep my Argonaut V over any thing I have used form Japan. A friend has a Pro
2 and he can keep it.
To each his own said the old lady as she kissed the cow.
