[TenTec] MAJOR dead Orion problem with update

sorry to hear about your sad experience Jeff ...i know of one other Orion
owner who has had a similar problem ...his radio would just quit working
after about 30 min ...finally after a couple days of that he sent it back to
Ten Tec ...they duplicated the problem, could not find a solution, sent him
a new radio ...

i was finally able to upgrade from 1.356 to 1.358 successfully  after
calling Ten Tec for suggestions: could find no way mentioned in the manual
to set the radio to update. for those in the same position--turn radio off,
turn back on with USER2 button depressed, then install update...all seems to
be working well now ...
