BUT,  BPL is perfectly legal right now!  Nothing to sue about.

The present BPL activity before the FCC is whether or not
the power of the signals on the electrical power transmission
line can be increased,  NOT whether a BPL signal can be
on the lines or not.  It will be up to the folks in Manassas
to decide if the signal is going to be reliable at the present
power level allowed.

Also whether the electrical utility companies can afford to
put in the "repeaters" every so often on the power lines
which are required without the presently requested increase
in power being approved.  If an increase in power were to
be approved by the FCC,  then amateur HF radio may be
in big trouble.

I hope there are some HF active amateurs in/around Manassas
who will report the results.  If they experience interference,  as
licensed users of the HF spectrum THEN they can file complaints
with the FCC.  This is what may be required before some limiting
action will come from the FCC.  Unfortunately,  they do not seem
to be reacting to the ARRL/Ed Hare collected data at this time.
