[TenTec] QRP-ifying an IC-745 and TT 1208 Transverter

Noah,

While it may be possible to reduce the output of your IC-745 to the five
watt level it still may not be safe to drive the T-T transverter because
many of the Icom rigs will output a high power spike at key up that
would probably damage the transverter.

It may be possible to modify the tansverter for low level drive by
removing the 50 ohm load resistor from the input circuit.  I'm sure that
Ten Tec tech support could advise you about this.
