I've also noticed that, even with the Studio One.  First word or two will 
peak to 100 watts out, and then peak output drops off.  Sometimes it 
happens and sometimes it doesn't.  Did not observe that effect in 1.365.  
Perhaps the DSP Transmit Gain change introduced in 1.364 was done to 
adjust something causing it (that's a WAG).
