[TenTec] Using Ameco PT-3 with Jupiter

Hi Mike,

I have the Ameco PT-3 and use it with the Jupiter.

The Ameco is an "inline" receive preamp (1.8 through 54.0) complete with 
transmit delay, tune control and gain control. The PT-3 will handle up to 350 
watts on transmit.

Rumor has it that Ameco is no longer in business.....too bad, its a great 
unit.

Used along with all the features that the Jupiter offers the PT-3 is an 
indispensable companion. 

I checked out MFJ's 1048.....it doesn't appear to have a gain control.
