Hi Mike, I guess I expect people to trust a fellow ham too much. I personally 
have never been burned (YET). On the other hand, I do not operate on the same 
multi million dollar budget as Ten Tec Co. and cannot afford to offer their 
kind of warranty.
I was just following the examples given on the auction site I'm not supposed 
to mention. I WILL NOT sell a bad item unless I state it in the ad and price 
it accordingly. The Tube warranty at RF Parts is original purchaser only, so 
the only
way I can honor that is if the buyer goes back thru me to get it honored. I 
also know there are buyers that will come back and say "You sold me a lemon and 
X, Y, Z is
wrong with it when their operating errors are actually to blame, Tuning into 
a mismatch, Not following the manual procedures etc. All the person has to do 
is contact me and if it is determined that it is a flaw that I was unaware of, 
or thru no fault of theirs, Then I will consider paying for Ten Tec to repair 
it. The Trust factor works both ways. 73.
