Mike, they're both exceptionally good: wide passband
and very "transparent" sounding - easy to listen to
for hours.  For those who aren't aware, this is a very
(easily) modified Corsair

The Orion is, of course, a much more flexible radio. 
And it's worth mentioning that the Corsair hang AGC
system is bothersome, to say the least.  I've been
very happy with the Orion's delightfully clean
sounding ssb receive audio, as well as its performance
in general.
