The Bliss tuner is nice and works well and yes it is pricy.
But then look at the components it uses, motorized (2 speeds), vacum
varriable
cap from 7-1000 pf, roller inductor from  0 to 56 uH.  Gives you a broader
tuning range that most tuners.  Sure you can make it cheaper your self - but
will you.
The PalStar looks good also....
