i wonder why folks make the computer to orion connection so complicated? ten
tec build the machine to run directly to the computer and sound card. that
simple connection works like a charm on all digital modes with LOGic7 and
MixW in tandem. wiring the digital switch (as shown in MixW) for CW works
wonderfully.
i have the orion hooked to COM1 and the CW switch hooked to COM2.
MixW talks to LOGic7 so entering a call sign in MixW automatically logs that
callsign into LOGic7 which then reads the radio and computer clock. when i
save the QSO in MixW it automatically enters the time as the end of QSO in
LOGic7.
