Sorry Steve, but I am a candidate.

I will pay $800 for a monoband 40m Ten-Tec rig.
Sign me up for serial number 00001.
Next year I'll take one for 20m.
But that's probably it.

Now I don't see a need to separate SSB from CW.
That's probably a $50 difference so you might as well make the rig do both
(at that price).
Specifically, I'll pay $850 for that rig if it does both modes.

How many people would pay $800 for a single band, cw only radio? Forget
that one. What about something like the K2/100 with no SSB adapter?
