P2 has no filter options in the first IF stage, no sidetone/off-set 
compensation, display reads center freq. instead of offset forcing you to 
mentally calculate actual freq (this needs verfying) No keyer (Omni's 
keyer NG anyway) Omni 6+ has xtal osc conversion which is supposed to 
reduce phase noise (not sure if it does however) P2 has AM mode which is 
a big bonus. AM was rare in TenTec stuff. P2's sidetone adjustments are 
on back of rig, real unhandy. If I were you I would just buy a small SW 
rx and stick with the 6+ for daily QSO use.
