Yes, I think your correct. I was told that as soon as  they generated
sidetone with DSP, their  QSK speed dropped about in  half! But with the
Omni 6 series, it turn out to be 'pot luck' because my Omni 6 will run full
QSK up to 68 wpm; my Omni 6 Plus will only operate to about 50 wpm (but TT
is working on  that), but I had a QSO with W9UJ two nights ago and his full
QSK and keying sounded very good at 70 wpm.
