I use, and am happy with a pair of Sony MDR-V600. Of course on ssb my
favorites are Heil headsets (I have several, all work equally well).

Without good stereo headphones you will never be able to realize the
benefits of the Orion audio switching in pile-ups or centering  cw signals.

I agree with Grant; choosing cans is like choosing a wife.  Good luck in
