[TenTec] triton 4 questions

boys and girls...

working with several old triton fours..

1. notice that when one is connected to the remote vfo, during key down the
digital readout on the remote display acts up..it rolls around and displays
odd frequencies. there is no chirp, just goofy display.

grounding does not help

if I remove the remote vfo for the circuit and just use the remote display,
there's no problems.

2. Two triton 4's don't seem to have any ten meter operation. I wonder why?
The other one that I have been using seems to work on 10 meters
