Which is the speed needed to reach those key clicks with the keyer ???
I can hear no clicks at all into my sidetone when using my G4ZPY straight
key !
With the iambic vibroplex, I did not test it yet with the keyer.
I'm watching the enveloppe on my o'scope and it's cool... at least at slow
speed.
Thanks for answer.
Eric, ON6CV.

ARRL:
"The real problem shows up during contests when signals
may be every 0.5 kHz (for CW) or every 2 kHz (for SSB
contests)."
Spacing ARRL MkV ARRL MP RSGB MP
2 kHz 79 (+10) 71 (+2) 71 (+3)
Comparable RSGB data for Orion's 2400 Hz filter at 2 kHz spacings
is 89 dB. RSGB did not test the optional 1800 Hz filter but
Sherwood measured 93 dB at 2 kHz.

the Orion, or one of it's related parts <in this case, the CW filter>.
Naaaa ... there's no QC problems ... 95% OK is just fine. B-(
Since the introduction of the FT-1000D in the late 80's,
what percentage of the FT-1000/D/MP/Mkv/Field have had key clicks?
And what has the manufacturer done to correct these?
Answer: 100% and NOTHING AT ALL...it's the users problem (and the
rest of us that have to listen through them all the time).
