RF gain was at max on both rigs. AF gain is fixed, non-variable, on the 
low-level outputs of each rig. The PRO3 had it's preamps turned off.
The PRO3's output appears higher because of the extra noise generated by 
it's defunct DSP system. It does this with or without the NR turned on but 
the noise is more obvious with NR turned on.

Steve, I know nothing of your methodology in generating the spectra that 
you've been sharing.  I was wondering what steps you took to match rf and af 
gain on the two rigs in order to feed equal amplitude audio signals into the 
soundcard before running the spectra?  Shouldn't the amplitude of the top 
signal trace for each radio look similar?  It looks like you're feeding more 
audio signal into the soundcard from the Icom than the Omni and that would 
certainly skew the images.
