Well, Rick - 1:1 SWR means 0 Watts of reflected power. I just tune for mininum reflected power, and ignoring transmission line losses 20W out means only ten watts back with a 6:1 SWR. So a 15W reflected power meter is fine.  Once the SWR is 1:1 I have to change the switch to forward power anyway so it's no extra trouble to flip the power range also.
