[TenTec] Orion vs. Yaesu FT-1000D

Me too. Got both sitting right here on the desk for S02R -- the perfect
combination. The answer depends to a large degree on what you do with your
radio. For an avid contester like me, the Orion adds capabilities that
unquestionably have boosted my scores beyond what I could do with the
1000D/1000MP combination I had before.
