[TenTec] 1210 Transverter - Questions / Comments?

I have a couple questions for anyone using or familiar with the 1210 transverter.

First question - what is your general satisfaction with the opertion and performance of the unit?

Second question is regarding information on any mods or thoughts regarding the 116 Mhz L.O. in the unit.  Can the L.O. frequency be changed to 118 Mhz to work the the other half of 2 meters?  Has anyone done this and would like to comment or provide details?
