[TenTec] Please explain Omni 6 options ?

I'd really appreciate an outline explanation of the various Omni VI options. 

       What are the options, why & when were they introduced. Were the 
options factory variations that were evolved and included in each "new" generation 
of Omni VI's or were they retrofits to a stock radio.
