Frank -
You might want to call Marshall Emm at Morse Express (se his website) and ask about his digital readout DD-1. I used one and they are excellent. You can also set them to run with multiple radios.

Subject: [TenTec] Adding a frequency counter to the Argo 509 ie: SWL Freq
	Mite

Hi everyone,
I have an Argo 509 i just blew the dust off of recently and its been working well but I would really like to add a frequency counter to the rig preferably one that outputs the freq in CW injected into the audio stage.
I was told by Ten tec that this cannot be done due to the type on conversion scheme the 509 uses, however I see posts in the archives where other Hams equip their 509's with digital frq. readout. If anyone is familiar with doing this I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
I have the SWL Freq Mite and I have no idea where to pull the RF from for it to read. I can select pretty much any IF freq with it but really am not sure how to do it if it can be done.
Thanks in advance,
Frank WB2TDT
