I'm a Navy MARS op - NNN0RVG. The OMNI (any of them) will give you about 80 kHz off either end of the band. On 40m, they programmed it for 6800 - 7300, so you can go down below 6800, but only up to 7380. It will not do any 5 MHz freqs. GL. 73, Mike Cizek W3MC w3mc at toad.net
