I don't agree at all.  There's nothing illogical about hitting the mute button 
while in menu mode.  The receiver shouldn't respond that way, and this 
clearly should be on the list of things to straighten out.

Not that it's a major issue .. still, it should be fixed.

There have been any number of issues that have been identified when 
someone pushed an "unexpected" sequence of controls.   In any case, 
expected or not, the radio should not end up in an undefined or ill 
definedstate ... Leave it to us to find the "unexpected"  :-)
