[TenTec] Ten-Tec Dayton New Product Announcement

In case you missed it, the announcement made by Ten-Tec at Dayton this year
for new products was:

"No $11,000 price-class HF transceiver is forthcoming from Ten-Tec."

Kidding aside, we'd like to come to Dayton every year with something new to
show, but we didn't have a new radio or amplifier this year.  We do have new
equipment in the works - as usual - but it's more experimenting and ideas than
anything else right now.

There was a presentation done at Dayton this year on Saturday by Rob Sherwood
of Sherwood Engineering fame about top of the line HF transceivers, the Orion
and the new high-dollar Japanese transceivers.  Rob indicated at the end of 
his
presentation that he would be presenting all receiver test data and items 
from the
discussion on his website in the near future at www.sherweng.com - once he has
placed it there it will be interesting to discuss (and I suppose some of you,
like me, actually watched the live presentation at the show).  To say we're
pleased is quite an understatement !
